Who we are

We are experienced consultants, strategists, listeners, explainers, and mediators in all areas of labor law. Since 1993, we have been advising domestic and foreign companies and executives on labor law, from A to Z. Together with our clients, we develop first class solutions that are tailored to the company, its people, and its culture. We know that every company is different, and we provide advice that is just as individual. Our goal is to deliver practical concepts and results in every situation, not abstract expert opinions, and to do so in a way that the client understands, even if they are not a lawyer.

With our small, highly specialized unit, we meet the client’s need for fast and flexible advice from a well-coordinated team.

What we do

We specialize in all areas of individual and collective labor law – including employment law for managing directors, board members, and freelancers.

Our services range from drafting and managing employment contracts to providing daily support to human resources departments and strategic advice on restructuring. We support shareholders in planning and implementing appropriate measures from start to finish. We develop concepts for negotiations with works councils and trade unions, provide our clients with advice and support during negotiations, and implement the results of negotiations in a legally compliant manner. We negotiate in-house collective agreements. When it comes to current case law and legislation, we are always up to date and think ahead. For example, we have been dealing with the issue of equal pay and fair pay for a long time. We actively support our clients in integrating new legal requirements into their internal processes efficiently and in a timely manner, in such a way that everyone is included.

Thanks to our team-based approach and our specialist knowledge, we can answer most questions relating to day-to-day HR business during the initial consultation. Our clients usually receive written confirmation by email, initial assessments of the factual and legal situation in relation to more complex inquiries, warnings, terminations, etc. within 24 hours.

We offer solutions with full cost control.

Thanks to our experience and because we are always up to date with labor law, solutions can be found for almost any issue, or at least the next steps can be discussed, in meetings arranged at short notice.
This gives companies full cost control, as they determine the duration of the meeting.

We work straightforward,  in a goal-oriented and needs-based manner.

We provide answers to questions without any ifs or buts. Our communication is clear and understandable. Of course, we also assess complex issues as needed.

We cooperate and bring in expert knowledge.

For larger projects, we work with excellent labor lawyers from other law firms. If advice from other disciplines is required, we bring in experts who deserve this title.

Many of our clients are part of international corporate structures. We understand their issues and can present, implement, and explain German peculiarities in an international context. We are experienced in communicating with foreign colleagues in matrix structures.

We provide training.

Our regular labor law newsletters and workshops on the practical handling of labor law issues round off the continuing education of our clients, which is important to us.
