
Employment law for Executives
Another important part of our work is advising managing directors, board members and executives.
In doing so, we take into account the fact that advising companies (especially on an ongoing basis) cannot be compared to advising executives. This is because, for example, dismissals (as long as they are not mass dismissals) do not have any existential significance for the companies. For the companies, it is about money, which does not ‘kill’ them, and sometimes it is also about principle. This is different for executives and also for all other employees.
The financial aspect is also much more complex for employees (qualifications, age, life situation, level of suffering, etc.), which is why it is important to us to advise them well and comprehensively, taking into account all the consequences, including social (insurance) law consequences, and to do so in the most understandable way possible (which is not always easy).
In the case of separation settlements, we also attach great importance to the tax optimisation of compensation payments and the social security implications of a separation.
